According to reports, Sam Bradford has re-torn the ACL in his left knee, the same knee that was injured last season against the Panthers. The full story, as reported by ESPN, can be read here.
The quarterback was leading a promising looking roster through preseason, as the team had quietly settled into a darkhorse spot in the overwhelming NFC West. A mix of depth and young talent had the team prepped for a run.
Of course, those plans for any kind of December run might have to be put on hold now.
Bradford has experienced success as the Rams signal-caller, but it has become a question of whether or not he can stay healthy. And right now, that’s a big question. Hopefully, he’s able to return from this second tear.
