The College Football GameTime Experience

Why waste meaningless hours watching ESPN College Gameday? I’ll get you all caught up here in a fraction of the time!

Florida State at North Carolina State

Let’s start things off with a bang. If anybody has the Seminoles number it’s the Wolfpack. Carter Finley Stadium has been very unkind to the Seminoles. The Wolfpack are 4-0 this season but unfortunately the wins have come from lesser squads. Considering this will be the first real game of the season for the Wolfpack, it’s gonna be a tough outing. Florida State will be ready with their star QB back at the helm. I look for Florida State to win this game with relative ease, but hey, anything can happen at Carter Finley Stadium when the Noles come to visit. Florida State 38-24.

Tennessee at Georgia

Butch Jones and his much improved Volunteers go between the hedges to face Mark Richtand the Bulldogs. The Volunteers will be pumped for this matchup. The Georgia defense is suspect and Tennessee will take advantage, but in the end Todd Gurley will be too much for the Volunteers. I predict a hard fought game between the two rivals but Georgia gets this one 31-28.

Arkansas at Texas A&M *UPSET ALERT*

People might think I’m crazy for this one, but Arkansas will win this game. Kevin Sumlin’s high flying offense will be kept off the field by the Razorback offense. Arkansas’s offensive line is the largest offense of line in the country. The Hogs will run the ball right at the A&M defense without mercy behind their hog mollies. Bret Bielema will get his first signature win as the head coach of Arkansas. Jerryland will be stunned when the Hogs pull out the victory 28-24.

Stanford at Washington

Chris Peterson will host The Cardinal on Saturday. The Cardinal will bring the first loss of the season for the Huskies. Look for The Cardinal to run right at the Husky defense, it will be like an unstoppable rebel force. Stanford runs away with it mid third quarter. The Cardinal 34-20.

Memphis at Ole Miss

The Tigers visit Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Saturday night. This is the best Ole Miss team since the Eli Manning days. This is also the best Memphis team since DeAngelo Williams days. There will be more offense than you can shake a stick at in this ballgame. This game will surprise some folks and be a back and forth football game deep into the fourth quarter. Bo Wallace will lead a game winning drive for the Rebels and Memphis’s hope of taking out a top 10 opponent will be crushed. Ole Miss 42-38.

Cincinnati at Ohio State *UPSET ALERT*

Tommy Tuberville will bring his Bearcats into the Horseshoe Saturday looking for blood. Ohio State is an overrated football team and it’s going to show Saturday. It will be a huge win for Cincinnati and Ohio States streak vs Ohio schools will be over. Look for Urban Meyer to have more “heart problems” after this one. Cincinnati 27-17.

Notre Dame at Syracuse

This game will be played at MetLife Stadium on Saturday. It would be in Syracuse favor if the game were played at the Carrier Dome. Evertt Golson will pick apart the Orange defense from start to finish. The luck of the Irish will only be on one side of the ball. Notre Dame wins the game with ease. 35-14.

Duke at Miami

Number 23 Duke comes into Coral Gables looking for its second win in a row against the Hurricanes. David Cutcliffe has changed the image of the Blue Devils 180 degrees. Defensive struggles have been the Achilles heel of the Hurricanes. Denzel Perryman has been a no-show for the Canes so far this season. Behind the arm of Brad Kaaya, the legs of Duke Johnson, and the hands and speed of Phillip Dorsett the Canes will score enough points to salvage their season. Al Golden will survive another week as the Miami HC. Miami wins 41-34.
