DW: THE STORY ABOUT ME SIGNING WITH ELIZABETH CITY STATE UNIVERSITY IS I WAS COMING BACK HOME FROM A VIRGINIA UNION VISIT AND WHEN I CAMEBACK I WAS SUPPOSED TO GO VISIT LINCOLN UNIVERSITY IN P.A. BUT ECSU SCHEDULE THEIR VISIT BEFORE THEN AND I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE CAMPUS AND THE COACHING STAFF AND VERBALLY COMMITTED MY LAST DAY AND SIGNED ON NATIONAL SIGNING DAY 2013.

Christa: How do you plan on making yourself stand out and noticed by scouts?

DW: MY AGENT GUY F PACKWOOD GREAT GUY, WILL SETUP AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHOWCASE MY TALENT DURING MY PRO DAY, WHICH IS TBA. RIGHT NOW I AM TRAINING WITH PARABOLIC IN HOWELL NJ ONE OF THE BEST NFL PREPARTION PROGRAM IN THE NATION.

C: What would you say are your strengths and weaknesses?

DW: MY STRENGTHS ARE MY BLOCK SHEDDING ABILITY AND PURSUIT ANGLES, MY WEAKNESS IS I TEND TO LOOK IN THE BACKFIELD FOR PLAYS INSTEAD OF LETTING THE PLAYS COME TO ME

C: What separates you from the other players at your position?

DW: WHAT SEPARATES ME FROM OTHER PLAYERS AT MY POSITION IS MY CONSISTENCY AND PREPARATION.

C: Which current or former NFL player do you think you resemble and why?

DW: THE CURRENT NFL DEFENSIVE LINEMEN I WOULD SAY I RESEMBLE ARE GLENN DORSEY AND MIKE DANIELS.

C: What is the most inspirational or powerful thing a coach has ever said to you in your college career?

DW: COACH STEVE RANKIN “BE DETERMINED FOR SUCCESS, NO EXCUSES.”

C: Who is the toughest player you’ve ever faced in your college career?

DW: OSTONE MEDEUS AND AVERY WRIGHT

C: How do you prepare for game day? Do you have any game day rituals?

DW: THE WAY I PREPARE FOR GAME DAY IS DURING THE WEEK WITH FILM STUDY, LIFTING, AND RUNNING. MY PRE GAME RITUALS ARE PRAYING AND VISUALIZING BIG PLAYS.

C: If could be any superhero who would it be and why?

DW: BATMAN, BECAUSE BATMAN IS THE BEST SUPERHERO EVEN THOUGH I LIKE SUPERMAN. I CAN ADMIT BATMAN IS THE BEST, THE REASON WHY IS BECAUSE HE SMART, ALWAYS PREPARED, AND HIS ABILITY TO FIND A WAY TO WIN.

C: What was your favorite moment/play at Elizabeth City State University?

DW: MY FAVORITE PLAY AT ECSU IS A 4TH DOWN SACK AGAINST LINCOLN UNIVERSITY P.A. FOR HOMECOMING, IT WAS GREAT GAME THOSE GUYS CAME DOWN TO NORTH CAROLINA FIGHTING.
