C: When you received the call from the Cleveland Browns, what were some thoughts that ran through your mind?

JS: When I heard I had an opportunity to work out for Cleveland Browns I couldn’t turn down the opportunity I’ve been waiting on my whole life.

C: What new strengths would you say you have acquired from being on the Cape Fear Heroes that you can bring to the Browns for your tryout?

JS: Strengths I’ve learned from Cape Fear Heroes is patience, read offenses, reacting faster, making the right decisions and I learned how to be pretty good linebacker in Arena football. I won first team all Arena League Linebacker June 30th, 2018 I had the most tackles out of all the linebackers in the league. I’m going to bring energy to the Browns workout.

C: What do you think you need to work on most to make the team? And how are you looking to improve on those skills?

JS: I think I have what it takes to help any defense. In Arena I play Mack Jack DE NG DE SPECIAL TEAMS. Outside I play OLB MLB DLINE SPECIAL TEAMS and I’m pretty good at it.

C: What are some goals you would like to achieve this season?

JS: Getting the most tackles in the league and helping any organization.
